Beach

De zee, we zijn 3 dagen naar de zee geweest en we zijn juist terug. Het was best wel goed weer. Het heeft wel eens geregend maar we zij toch buiten kunnen komen.

Maandag hebben we niet veel gedaan, we hebben wat gewandeld in Middelkerke. We zijn naar de winkel geweest en hebben nog wat rond gelopen.

Dinsdag zijn we naar Nieuwpoort geweest. Mijn vriend en zoontje waren daar nog niet geweest, dus dacht ik, waarom eens niet naar daar. Dus de tram op met de buggy. De eerste tram zat vol, dus gewacht op de tweede waar minder volk op zat. Gelukkig duurde het niet lang voor de tweede tram er was. In Nieuwpoort wat rond gelopen en gewinkeld. Het was wel leuk.

Woensdag zijn we naar Brugge geweest. Ik hou van deze stad. Het was de eerste keer dat ons zoontje er geweest is. Hij zal er nog meer komen. Wij zijn verzot op Brugge. Hevige supporters van Cercle Brugge. Moesten we genoeg geld hebben, dan zouden we daar een huis kopen. Maar dat zal nooit niet zijn. Deze keer hebben we wat gewinkeld. Kleertjes voor mij en kleertjes voor zoontje. De papa vond niets naar zijn goesting. 's Avonds zijn we terug naar huis gereden. Het waren 3 leuke dagen.

The beach, we went 3 days to the beach and we are just back. It was good weather. It rained a little but we could go outside.

Monday we didn't do much, we just walked around in Middelkerke. We went to the store and walked around.

Tuesday we went to Nieuwpoort. My boyfriend and my son haven't been there, so I thought why not go to there. So we took the tram with the buggy. The first tram was full, so we waited for the second tram. Luckely it didn't take that long. In Nieuwpoort we did some shopping and we walked around. It was fun.

Wednesday we went to Bruges. I love this city. It was the first time that our son was there. It will not be his last time. We adore Bruges. Number 1 supporters from Cercle Bruges. If we would have enough money, we would buy a house there. But that will never happen. This time we did some shopping. Clothes for me and clothes for our son. Daddy didn't find anything. In the evening we went back home. It were 3 fun days.

What a week!!

Maandag, Dinsdag en Woensdag

11 are onkruid, hoe begin je daar aan. Ik zou het niet weten... hier en daar wat uittrekken? Dat duurt dagen en weken. Dan maar het grasmachine genomen en er door gereden. En het resultaat mag gezien worden. 11 are mooi plat stuk grond. Ik ben er fier op. Ik ben heel fier op mijn ventje. Hij heeft hard gewerkt om het proper te krijgen. Ik heb natuurlijk ook geholpen. Maar mijn ventje heeft het meeste werk gedaan. Ik hoop nu maar dat alles zo mooi blijft. Het moet ten minste nog 5 jaar liggen voor er iets met gedaan word.


Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday

11 are weeds, how do you start on that. I would say... pull something out here and there? That takes days and weeks. Then we took the lawn-mover and did it like that. And I'm proud of the result. 11 are beautifull piece of land. I'm very proud at my boyfriend. He worked hard to get it clean. I also helped. But my boyfriend did most of the work. I hope that everything stayes like that. It still has to be there 5 years before something happens with it.

Donderdag en Vrijdag

Na zo hard te werken de eerste 3 dagen van de week. Was het de rest van de week tijd voor ontspanning. We zijn naar Domburg geweest in Nederland samen met mijn ouders. Het was heel leuk en het was ook mooi weer. De eerste dag toch, de tweede regende het heel hard. We zijn dan maar snel naar huis gereden. Het was een leuke uitstap. Het was lang geleden dat we daar nog geweest zijn. Het was leuk om er nog eens te komen en alles te herinneren zoals het vroeger was. Ik zou vanaf nu nog wel meer naar daar willen gaan. Als het wat mooier weer is.

Vrijdag avond was het uitreiking van de petanque. We hebben een beker gewonnen. De eerste keer dat we eens een beker winnen.

Thursday and Friday

After working so hard the first 3 days of the week. Was it time to relax the other days of the week. We went to Domburg in The Netherlands together with my parents. It was a lot of fun and it was also good weather the first day. The second day it rained all the time. We went then home very fast. It was a fun trip. It had been a long time that i've been there. It was fun to come there and remember everything how it was. I think i'm gonna go there more starting now. But then when it's beautiful weather.

On friday evening we went to a celebration of the petanque. We won a cup. The first time that we won that.

Zaterdag

Zaterdags is het altijd voetbal. Dus om 15u naar de voetbal. Slecht weer dat het was. De mannen zijn verzopen in de regen. Gelukkig hebben ze gewonnen met 4 - 3.

Saturday

Saturday it is always soccer. So at 3 o'clock in the afternoon we went to the soccer. It was very bad weather. The guys almost drawned in the rain. Luckely they won with 4 - 3.


Zondag

Vandaag stemmen we voor een nieuw gemeetebestuur en ook voor een nieuwe provincieraad. Ik ben eens benieuwd. Een nieuwe burgemeester zou wel leuk zijn. Ok het is hier goed, maar er mag na zoveel jaar ook wel eens een frisse wind door het gemeentehuis blazen. En ik hoop dat veel mensen zo denken. We konden van 8u - 13u gaan stemmen. Mijn ouders zijn 's morgens gegaan. Zij hadden niet lang moeten aanschuiven. Ik ben om 11u  gegaan,  ik had fille voor mij. Het leek alsof heel mijn straat om 11u ging. Voor de rest van de dag heel de dag uitgekeken naar het resultaat. We blijven met hetzelfde bestuur zitten. Op naar de volgende 6 jaar.

Sunday

Today we are going voting for a new city council and also for a new distric council. I'm very curious. A new mayor would be fun. Ok it's good here, but after so many years it's time for a fresh start in the mayorsoffice. And I hope that the people will think like that too. We could go voting from 8 o'clock in the morning till 1 o'clock in the afternoon. My parents went in the morning and didn't have to wait a long time. I went at 11 o'clock and i had a line in front of me. It seemed that everybody in my street went at 11 o'clock. For the rest of the day we looked forward to the results. We still have the same management as before. Up to the next 6 years.

The balloons

Zaterdag 22 september hebben we 3 ballonnen opgelaten omdat ons zoontje 1 jaar was geworden.

Dinsdag 24 september hebben we een brief ontvangen van de Koninklijke Vliegclub De Wouw uit Goetsenhoven. Eén van de ballonnen hadden ze gevonden op hun vliegveld. Ze hebben een brief gestuurd en laten weten dat we altijd eens mogen komen zweefvliegen.

Wel heel leuk om zo een brief in de bus te krijgen.


Saturday 22 september we let up 3 balloons because my son turned 1 that day.

Tuesday 24 september we got a letter in the mail from the Koninklijke Vliegclub De Wouw from Goetsenhoven. They found one of the balloons on there airfield. They send us a letter to let us know that we always could come by to try to glide.

It's a lot of fun to get such a letter in the mail.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!

Op 22 september 2012 is ons zoontje 1 jaar geworden.

Het was groot feest met veel mensen en kadootjes. Zo een eerste verjaardag is toch altijd iets speciaals.

We zijn de dag druk begonnen om alles klaar te zetten tegen dat de uitgenodigde kwamen. Dus tent gaan halen, eten gemaakt, tent versierd,.... Gelukkig was ons zoontje goed gezind, dus dat was ook heel leuk.

Tegen 14u30 kwam iedereen tot bij ons. Eerst kadootjes uitpakken. Heel veel speelgoed gekregen en ook kleding. Allemaal leuke dingen. Dan als iedereen er was zijn we beginnen bbq-en. Ondertussen kwamen er nog mensen toe die iets later kwamen. Dus ondertussen ook nog kadootjes open gedaan. Zoon lief heeft niet veel van de BBQ gegeten. Gelukkig had hij 's middags wel wat gegeten.

Na de bbq hebben we ballonnen omhoog gelaten. En daarna was het tijd voor de cake. Een plettaartje voor zoontje. Hij heeft zijn gang kunnen gaan. Het was heel leuk om te zien.

Het was een leuke en drukke dag. 's Avonds waren we allemaal moe.

Hij kan het nog niet zeggen maar hopelijk heeft hij een gelukkige verjaardag gehad.

On 22 september 2012 our son turned 1.

It was a big party with a lot of people and presents. A 1st birthday is always something special.

We started the day with making everything ready. So we put up the tent, made food, decorated the tent,... Luckely our son was in a good mood, so that was fun.

At 14u30 the people started to arrive. First we opened the presents. He got a lot of toys and also clothes. All fun stuff. When everybody was there we started to bbq. Still there were arriving people who came a little later. So still opening presents. Our little boy didn't eat much from the bbq. Luckely he ate at lunchtime something.

After the bbq we let up some balloons. And after that it was cake time. A smashcake for our son. He had fun with it. It was fun to watch him.

It was a fun and busy day. In the evening we all were tired.

He can't say it but I hope he had a happy birthday.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AKSEL!!!

Plopsa!

Vrijdag zijn we naar Plopsaland De Panne geweest met heel de familie Van Camp. Wij met ons 3, mijn vriend zijn zus en haar twee kinderen (man moest werken) en mijn vriend zijn ouders.
Drie uur op de trein, het is een echte belevenis.

's Morgens heel vroeg opstaan om de trein te hebben zodat we daar waren als het park open ging. Iedereen was nog moe en de kindjes probeerde in de trein te slapen. Die van ons is dat gelukt een beetje.

Aangekomen in het park was iedereen wakker. We hebben veel attracties gedaan. Alleen met de kindjes of iedereen samen. Maar één ding weet ik nu voor de volgende keer. Nooit meer ga ik in de boomstammetjes met mijn schoonmoeder. Ik ben er kletsnat uit gekomen. Dus omdat ik toch al nat was, ben ik maar met mijn vriend in een grote boot geweest die van heel hoog het water in ging. Mijn vriend heeft hoogtevrees. Hij dacht dat het vies ging doen, maar het viel nog wel mee zei hij. Gelukkig was het mooi weer en heb ik ondertussen als we door het park gingen kunnen opdrogen.

Op de terug weg in de trein was het niet zo leuk. De mensen bij ons in de trein waren nogal luid. Gelukkig hebben we er maar bij moeten zitten tot in Gent.

's Avonds heel laat zijn we terug thuis gekomen. Het was een leuke dag, maar ook een vermoeiende dag.

Friday we went to Plopsa land De Panne with the whole family Van Camp. The 3 of us, my boyfriends sister and her two kids (husband had to work) and the parents of my boyfriend. Three hours on the train, it's something.

Early awake in the morning to get the train so that we are there when the parc opens. Everybody was still tired and the kids tried to sleep on the train. Our little one did sleep a little bit.

When we arrived in the parc everybody was awake. We did a lot of rides. Alone with the kids or all together. But one thing I know for the next time. Never ever am i going in a water slide with my mom - in - law. I was so wet when I came out of it. So because I was already wet, me and my boyfriend went in a big boat that went from very high in the water. My boyfriend is affraid of hights. He thought it wasn't gonna be for him, but after it he said that it was ok. Luckely it was beautifull weather and I could dray up when I was going around in the parc.

On the way back on the train it wasn't that fun. The people on the train were kind off load. Luckely we had to go off the train in Gent and they stayed on the train.

In the evening we were back home very late. It was a fun day, but a tiring day.

33 b-day Luc!

Maandag was het mijn vriend zijn 33ste verjaardag. De avond voordien had ik heel het huis versierd zodat als hij wakker werd, hij verrast was met de versiering. Dus snel snel nog wat ballonnen opblazen en hangen en dan vlaggetjes hangen en het is versierd.

Monday my boyfriend had his 33th birthday. The evening before I decorated the house so when he wake up, he would be surprised with the decoration. So I got some balloons and hanged some flags and it was decorated.

Mijn vriend heeft niet graag veel aandacht met zijn verjaardag. Dus een feestje is er niet geweest. 'S avonds toen hij thuis was heb ik hem laten zoeken naar zijn kadootjes. En tegen 20u zijn er een paar vrienden langs gekomen.

Ik hoop dat hij een leuke verjaardag gehad heeft.

My boyfriend doesn't like much attention on his birthday. So we didn't give a party. So in the evening when he was home I let him look for his presents. And at 8 o'clock we had a visit from some friends.

I hope he had a great birthday.

Fietseling!!

Elk jaar word er hier in de streek een fietseling gereden. En dit jaar dacht ik, waarom eens niet mee doen. Dus de week voor de fietseling was alles geregeld. Ik zou het petekindje van mijn vriend gaan halen en onze kleine kapoen zou dan bij zijn tante blijven. Het was allemaal goed en ik dacht: "Kan ik eens iets van sport doen en genieten van de zon."

Maar dan de dag voordien nog eens even bellen naar de tante. Komt die met een leuk bericht af: "Ja, we gaan mee fietsen." Ik zo lastig als iets, ok ik vind mijn zoontje nog iets te klein om vanachter op de fiets te zitten. Had ik al gedacht: "Ok dan ga ik maar winkelen met hem. En misschien eens naar de voetbal kijken. Dat mijn vriend dan maar met hen mee rijd."

Die avond komen we bij mijn schoonouders. Ze hadden geregeld dat onze kleine snotter wel kon mee rijden. Ok, nu zat ik daar. Ik had mijn dag al herschikt.

Okeh, de dag is daar en de moment is daar dat ze gaan vertrekken. En ik en mijn zoontje rijden niet mee. Dus de fietseling die ik wou doen, ik heb hem niet gedaan.

Wij zijn gaan winkelen met de overgrootoma (mijn oma) en ookal is het nog te vroeg, kleintje heeft schoenen gekregen voor zijn verjaardag. En dat was ook leuk.


Every year there's in the area a Cycling. And this year I thought, why not try to do that too. So the week before it everything was planned. I would go with my boyfriends gothchild and my little champion would stay with his aunt. It was all good and I thought: "I can do then something sportive and enjoy the sun."

But the day before we called the aunt. And she's telling us: "Yeah but we went to participate too." I was so angry, my son is a little to little to sit on the back of a bike. I already thought: "Ok then I'm going shopping with him. Maybe go look at some soccer. My boyfriend will go with them."

That evening we went to my in laws. They had aranged that the little one could go with. Ok, what now. I had already rearanged my day.

The day and the moment go leave was there and me and my little boy didn't go with. So that cycling that I wanted to do, I didn't do it.

We went shopping with great-grandma (my grandma) and ok it's too early but my son got shoes for his birthday. And that was also fun.

Diner with friends!

Het was lang geleden dat we elkaar nog eens gezien hadden, dus hadden we besloten om eens uit te gaan eten.

Ik, mijn vriend, een vriendin en haar vriend. En toevallig in het restaurant waar een andere vriendin van ons haar vakantiewerk doet. Om haar een beetje te gaan ambeteren. Zoon lief moest thuis blijven bij oma en opa. Maar hij heeft zich niet verveelt.

Om 19u hadden we af gesproken in het restaurant. Onze vrienden waren er al. Nee, voor één keer waren we niet te laat :-).

Het was een gezellige avond. Ik heb mosselen gegeten. En we hebben eens bijgebabbeld. Het was echt nodig.

Weekend at the beach!

Vorig weekend zijn we naar de zee geweest. Heel leuk en het was ook heel goed weer. Strandwandeling was fantastisch.

Ik, mijn ouders en mijn zoontje zijn donderdag al vertrokken met de auto. Mijn vriend kwam vrijdag avond naar daar met de trein. Hij moest nog werken. Ja er moet iemand werken voor de centjes ;-).

Donderdag niet veel gedaan, een beetje gewandeld op de dijk.

Vrijdag ben ik naar Oostende geweest alleen, terwijl moeke en vake op zoontje paste. Ik moest mijn vriend ook gaan halen in het station. Het was heel warm. Ik heb een beetje gewinkeld en wat kunstwerken opgezocht.

Zaterdag heeft mijn vriend paëlla gemaakt voor ons en zijn we naar de rommelmarkten in de buurt geweest. Niet veel te zien maar wel een leuke uitstap. Een terrasje gedaan en dan was er zogezegd vuurwerk omdat het de Belgische Nationale feestdag was. Ja geen vuurwerk te zien, maar wel in de verte in de naburige kustgemeentes.

Zondag werd mijn zoontje 10 maand. We hebben een strandwandeling gemaakt tot de volgende badstad. Met de tram terug. Het was zijn eerste keer in de tram. Ik denk niet dat hij er veel van gemerkt heeft. Hij had een meisje in het oog. Ja dat begint al goed. Na de middag zijn we op het strand gaan zitten. Het zand vond hij leuk, maar het water dat was iets anders. Ik denk dat het te koud was. Voor de rest hebben niet veel gedaan die dag. Alles klaar gemaakt om naar huis te vertrekken. Rond half 10 's avonds zijn we vertrokken en 2 uur later waren we thuis.

Het was een fijne weekend!!

Last weekend we went to the beach. A lot of fun and it was good weather. Stroll on the beach was fantastic.

Me, my parents and my son left thursday with the car. My boyfriend came friday in the evening with the train. He had to work. Yeah somebody has to work for the money ;-).

Thursday we didn't do much. A walk on the dike.

Friday I went to Ostend alone, while moeke and vake watched my son. I had to get my boyfriend from the station. It was very warm. I shopped a little bit and visited some artwork.

Saturday my boyfriend made paëlla for us and we went to the flea markets in the neighbourhood. Not much to see but a fun trip. We did a terrace and then it was the so-called firework because it was the Belgian National holiday. Yeah no firework to see, but only far away in the neighbouring coast communities.

Sunday my son tured 10 months. We had a stroll on the beach untill the next city. With the tram we went back. It was his first time on the tram. I don't think that he noticed it. He was looking at a girl. Yeah that's starting early. In the afternoon we went to the beach. The sand he liked very much but the water he didn't like so much. I think it was too cold. For the rest we didn't do much that day. We made everything ready to go home. Around half 10 in the evening we left and 2 hours later we were home.

It was a great weekend!!

Zoo

Yesterday we went for the 1st time with us 3 to the zoo.
It was really fun. Aksel didn't really get interested in it yet i think. Ok he's only 9 months and he's maybe to young for it. But it was really fun to do.
There were a lot of animals to see. It's a big zoo. There was something special in the zoo. There was a little baby elephant there called Kai-mook. He just moved to there. Luckely I could take a picture of him.

At the end Aksel got a reminder of the fun day we had. A little Kai-mook. He played with it on the way back home.


Gisteren zijn we voor het eerst met ons 3 naar de zoo geweest.
Het was echt leuk. Ik denk dat Aksel nog niet echt erin geïnteresseerd in is. Hij is maar 9 maand en hij is misschien te jong ervoor. Maar het was echt leuk om te doen.
Er waren veel dieren. Het is een grote zoo. Er was iets special in de zoo. Er was een kleine baby olifant genaamd Kai-mook. Hij was juist verhuisd naar daar. Gelukkig kon ik een foto van hem nemen.

Op het einde heeft Aksel nog een souvenir gehad als aandenken aan de plezante dag. Een kleine Kai-mook. Hij heeft er mee gespeeld op weg naar huis.

Busy Weekend

Last weekend was a busy weekend. Saturday a wedding and sunday a babyborrel.



Saturday 16 june:

Today was the wedding of Griet and Guy. It was a nice day, too bad that it rained a little bit. But she and he looked great.

The wedding was around 12u30 and the party was at 18u30. At the party we got bbq. It was great and the dessert was great too.

The party was good, good music and a lot of dancing. We arrived at home around 5 o'clock.

Sunday 17 june:

Today was the babyborrel from little Warre.

We didn't sleep much because of the wedding but we made sure that we were there.

It was a fun babyborrel. A lot of drinks and a lot of food. They even got fries.

It's a big baby, as big as our little son then.

I hope they will enjoy our present. Have a lot of fun together and i'm looking forward till our two kids will play soccer together.

Fatherday

 Today it was fatherday. Special day because it was my boyfriends first fatherday.

We surprised daddy with presents and breakfast.

We started the day with breakfast in bed. Some sandwishes, some stuff for on the sandwishes, a yoghurt, the cupcakes that I made and orange juice.

After that Aksel was awake and we gave a little present to daddy.

in it was a lego minifig with my boyfriends name on and a keychain in the shape of a lego block with on it "My Daddy Rocks"

When we came downstairs I made sure that he saw his other gifts.

I hope that he liked everything that we made and got for him. And now that we are going to sleep, I still have a little present for him.

DADDY ROCKS!!!

I am standing, yeah yeah yeah!

standing and falling, that's what my little baby boy is doing at the moment. It's his first time that he's really standing by himself on the sofa. I'm so proud of him. Only 8 months and already standing. I think i'm gonna hear again on the controle office "But Aksel, you're too young to be doing that". But he's doing that.

Two days too late but this is the news about

Sunday 29 April.

Today my little boy got baptised. It was a busy day. The day started with putting everything together. Getting the food, putting the table up and many things more.

Around 3 o'clock in the afthernoon we had to be in church. Not knowing that it would be busy there because of festivities, we didn't think that we would find a parking spot. But we found one.

In church it went ok. Aksel didn't cry so that's good. He slept for most of the time too. We had to wake him when he got baptised.











Afther church we went home for a little party. He got some nice presents and we had a lot of fun. We spend the whole morning decorating and making cookies and all that stuff. I hope the people liked it.










We had cake that i decorated some days before the party. It's looking okeh. It's all made with fondant.

These are the presents the people got when they went home. And also the presents for the gothmother and gothfather. Little candles with a picture, 2 glass bottles and lego for the kids. Aksel can't play with lego yet, but now he already had a figure with his name on.

Meeting Tree Aksel

Yesterday on 22 april 2012 my baby boy turned 7 months old. Every month I want to do something with him or for him. Luckely the tree meeting fell on the same day as his 7 month birthday.

Every baby born in 2011 got in my comunity a tree with his/her name on. And yesterday we had to go meet the tree. There are 4 lanes with trees. Aksel has his tree in lane nr 3.

Lane 1: born in Januari, Februari, March
Lane 2: born in April, May, June
Lane 3: born in Juli, August, September
Lane 4: born in October, November, December

It was fun but noting really special. I'm looking forward to see if his name is hanging there still next year and also to see where his tree is standing. It's a beechtree...
